It's not sold anywhere? why? I think it looks great, does it have problems or something? is it not manufactured anymore?
I mean why?

Hi
No it doesn't have any problems at all that I am aware of. It is a great board.
I guess that it is being phased out as the newer P67 and soon Z68 boards come in. I just checked and there are no big companies selling it in the UK now.

I have one and it's working great, can't find any in the US also, at Newegg store here the feedback were 50/50 either it was working great or peoples were having major problems with it...the price was also "kinda" high. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128446&Tpk=ud9
I don't think they are phasing it out because of the P67 since they will release this X58 board http://www.legitreviews.com/news/10101/ but because they had a lot of problems with it.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I called Gigabyte USA to ask if my OCZ SSD PCI-e card will work with their board and they could not answer me with a yes or a no.....they told me I had to try it??? Well that's what I did after calling OCZ to get a confirmation of the card compatibility. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227521

I am not sure that you are correct in your assumption that the OC board will replace it but there are a whole series of boards being released with the X58 chipset and some of them are indeed very expensive also. Even though because of the price I am sure there were less UD9 boards sold than others in the series we haven't had many problems with them this side of the pond at all.

I have an OCZ IBIS which also uses a PCI-e Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227649&Tpk=ibisa%20360gb and they seem to have issues with a lot of boards. what was OCZ's reply to you?

OCZ told me I should not have any problem with my SSD card and the UD-9 board, they were right plug and play thing.
I know other proples having problems with your SSD card....to new?? I don't know....maybe a new bios will take care of the problems if the problem is from the mobo?

That's weird, it was a love it or hate it relationship here with this board.....this board was expensive indeed, I got it anyway after reading all the feedback here.
This board is so far the best board I ever own, as you can see in my sig. I got my 980X at 4677.4GHz....screaming fast...

Personally I think they are a great board and I would have one if I could afford it and the multi GPU setup to make it worth while! I have the next one down the UD7 and that also is a very nice board. Apart from the Marvell SATA3 problem and not being able to run RAID0 6GB/s drives which is one of the reasons I bought it. Generally though excellent quality.
