Hi guys.

Which VGA is better to buy:
1. GV-N580UD-15I - http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3684#ov (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3684#ov)
or
2. GV-N580D5-15I-B - http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3625#ov (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3625#ov)
????

Also, tell me some reasons if you can.

Thx.

Hi

The GV-N580UD-15I  is slightly the better card although there isn't much to choose between them. It has the UDV which the other card doesn't and it is slightly faster but not by any massive amount.

You can compare them here:

Hi.

Dark Mantis and what UDV means ?

I want to buy an GTX 580 from Gigabyte and I can't find an GV-N580UD-15I.
What to do ? To wait for an GV-N580UD-15I or to buy an GV-N580D5-15I-B ?

Thx again.

UDV just means Ultra Durable VGA and refers to the way the printed circuit board is made with a double thickness of copper for the tracks. It means that in theory at least the board can take more punishment, electricly.

I would have thought that the other board would have been the same to be honest as I thought all their boards were to that standard now.

If you can only get the GV-N580D5-15I-B then I wouldn't wait around for the other version unless you are planning to overclock it like mad.
