Title: GA-EX58-UD5 REV(1.0) Upgrade to Intel 970 which BIOS should I use

Hello all; I am currently using BIOS F6. Upgrading to the 970 and was wondering which BIOS version would be recommended for my UD5 REV(1.0)

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte forum.

Any BIOS version of F7 or more will be compatible with the 970 CPU. Don't forget that it will need to be updated  before installing the chip.

Thank you Dark Mantis. This was my first post on the forums. I flashed to F12 BIOS and everything has been running very smooth. I have had the UD5 for about 1.5 years now and have been most impressed with its performance. Even when I have botched things up on multiple occasions it always seems to bounce right back and beg for more.
