I have the Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3. And on could boot in "post meny" its hang. A solution is to take out all usb (2) memoristick external hd. I realy dont know wath the problem is.
This is a big problem for me . I have a lot off usb hd and memoristick
Please help :)

If I read your post correctly ..The system fails to boot with the USB sticks inserted..If so did you install the latest windows driver for USB?

Make sure that you have Legacy USB Devices enabled in the BIOS.

My board would not boot when my iPod was plugged in to a USB socket.
I think this was because I had USB above my hard drives in the boot order, so I assume it was looking at the iPod, not finding a boot record, but then not moving on to hard drives.
Assuming you're not booting from these devices, you could try changing the boot priorities.

I've tried to change the bot in the bios setup. Both with and without usb. No change. I also have the same problem with my ipod. I'll try Dark Mantis solusjon.
jolphil I've downloaded the latest drivers. So I do not think the problem lies there.

I just noticed in your post you state you have 12 gb of RAM..Is that a typo or do you have unmatched sticks in your motherboard..
Can you clarify your RAM..

Yes it is often just down to that little setting. ;)
