“Problem” is-different temperatures.
3rd party software(HW Monitor) shows very high temperatures to cpu and system:
CPU:Core#0 +55C-idle and +70C load
Core#1 +46C-idle and +60C load
Core#2 +52C-idle and +65C load
Core#3 +58C-idle and +70C load
EasyTune6:
system temperature:+39C idle and +46C load
cpu temperature: +33C idle and +39C load
gpu +51C idle and +68C load
BIOS vF11:
System temperature +39C idle and +45C load
cpu temperature: +33C idle and +45C load
Question is:Should I believe 3rd party software or EasyTune6/BIOS information?
And my hardware is:
Motherboard:Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR
CPU:Intel Q8200 2.33ghz-CPU Cooler Zalman CNPS7000-Cu
Graphcard:Gigabyte GTX470 SOC 1280mb
RAM:8GB Kingston ddr2 800mhz
PSU:Cooler Master GX 750W
Case:Cooler Master HAF 912+ fans:2x200mm+2x120mm

Hi
I would say that you should try CoreTemp or RealTemp for an accurate measurement of the temperatures. There will always be a difference between the seperate core temperatures but the reporting programs should agree.
-
Thank you.. Why there is so big difference HWMonitor and BIOS temperatures????
-
My first thought would be that maybe the programs are not up to date, the latest versions because that is often the case for reporting the wrong values.
-
I have always latest versions
-
Well maybe HWMonitor is lying to you! I really don't know why the discrepancy but tyhe important thing is to check and see which reading is accurate.
-
Thank you... maybe there is big and bad ****l behind this conspiracy ::)
-
Yes maybe! As I said if you try the other two programs it will enable you to see which was the most accurate previously.
-
I googled this "diode vs. socket CPU temps". and there is many very interesting articles.
-
You will always get variations because of the analogue versus digital sensors.
