Well, I finally came to it in buying a bit more ram for my system, but not wihout problems.
I had:
2x2GB Twin2x4096-6400C5DHX G
then I bought another set of those sticks, so I now have 8GB, that is 2x2GB + 2x2GB
but, whenever I try to play a game, I get some huge error effects, sometimes the game hangs a bit, the screen freezes for a little while and so forth, and it sometimes seems to react slower, that is lagging a little bit, taking a little while longer to react in the windows OS.

Hi
Have you mixed the two sets in the channels ?
It would probably be better to keep them seperate as they maybe the same but they are not matched.
-
I could try that, will try that tomorrow and post results, busy daddy needs to go to sleep :)
and to be sure, you are talking about mixing 1+2x3+4 into f.ex.: 1+3x2+4?
-
I am assuming that at the moment you have the originals in 1+3 and the new in 2+4 which means that you are mixing the two packs in each channel. Make sure that you mark each kit first before playing around.
-
nope, they are in pairs right now, that is 1+2x3+4, that is 1+2 are the original ones, and 3+4 are the new ones
righfully, it should be 0+1x2+3, but you get the idea.
-
After checking your particular motherboard layout you need to put kit A into DDR2_0 and DDR2_3 and kit B into DDR2_2 and DDR2_4
-
thx man, it seems to be working :)
-
You're welcome. I'm just glad that it is ok. ;)
-
well, I guess I spoke a little too soon, before, it always happened when the game was starting, or booting up, and then sometimes right after I start playing, but now it happens a little while into the game, I have tried exchanging the new ones, but haven´t tried putting the new ones yet into 0 & 3, becuase I don´t think that´s the case anymore, what could it be?
-
Hi
I would think that you will probably need to increase your northbridge voltage to compensate for filling the slots. I am not that fmiliar with this platform though so I will leave it to one of the AMD afficinados to tell you how much is safe. ;)

No memory manufacturer will guarantee that mixing two of their kits together will work together. It is possible that they will work together. You may also want to use memtest86+ http://www.memtest.org/ (http://www.memtest.org/) to test for defective modules.
If you want to use 8GB, you should use an 8GB kit, not two 4GB kits.
