I got my X58A-Ud9 back after being RMA'd because it would not boot, just power cycled over and over. (See http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=3887.30)
it was gone for 5 weeks :-X
I installed it and was able to install Windows 7 but six hours later - SAME PROBLEM!
Frankly, this is not good enough! And I am not very happy!

Hi Simonh
Bad news indeed. What had Gigabyte done to repair the board and what was wrong in their eyes?

I have no idea. I did not get any paperwork with it.
It was RA# ADI017

I am afraid the RMA number is no good to us here as we only deal with UK problems. You would have to enqire from the Gigabyte Australia office as to what was done. I would certainly ask.
