im getting bsod while playing bfbc2, stop 124, would raising the qpivtt help/ if so what should i set it at

Yes with that stop code on a BSOD it normally means that the QPI/Vtt is wrong. It might be too low or too high, no way of telling. All you can do is tweak it a touch and see if it improves. I would tend to increase it first.
