Title: GA-P35-DS3 iP35 - Not recognizing OCZ Vertex 2 ssd

Hi everybody,

My GA-P35-DS3 iP35 mainboard just wont recognize my SSD drive which is a OCZ vertex 2 120 gb.

 I've flashed bios to F14, checked that sata-sockets are working, checked that Sata-cable is working. I've tried with every setting even remotely connected to HDD's and also with "USB Legacy[...]" turned off.

Has anyone else had problems with this MB and SSD's? What can i do more than i've already done?

Hi and welcome to the Giga byte Forum.

Have you verified that the drive itself is working by trying it on another machine ?

Also swap the cables and see if that helps.

i've tried swapping cables with a device that is working. That device still worked but not the SSD.
I'll try with another computer later this evening!
