I have a GA-8I915PL-g motherboard what graphic card can i use for it i know its a pci express but how do i choose? ???
-
Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte forum.
Your motherboard supports PCIE x16 graphics cards therefore more or less any modern graphics card will fit. A lot depends on what you want to do with the system and your budget.
-
It dosent have to be a ddr type
-
I think you are getting mixed up with memory. DDR is a spec of memory modules.
-
So any suggestions so many to choose from
-
Well I really need some input from you. I said in my initial post that it depends on your budget and what you want to do with your system. ;)

I WATCH MOVIES NOT TO MUCH GAMING NO MORE THAN $50

Please don't shout!
In that case most any card in that price range will serve you well. Personally I prefer the AMD Radeon range of cards but the nVidia range are fine.
Something like the Radeon 5670 would be a good all round card for what you require and this particular model is worth a look.

Sorry I just realised you said dollars not pounds. You will have to go down a bit from that then.

The Sapphire card I posted is one of the better makes in my opinion, but obviously there are others. Gigabyte do their own version if it is available near you.
