Title: GA-965P-DS3 rev. 3.3 cpu support list question

 I have been offered a Q8400 Core 2 Quad from a friend. In the cpu support list for this mobo it lists it and says "Non official support"!
What doed this mean? Will it work? I know I have to flash BIOS to F14 from F10...

Hi

If it says that there shouldn't be any trouble with using the CPU with the motherboard just that Gigabyte no longer support this BIOS for use with this chip.
