Hi I have the following hardware:
GA-H55M-S2V (rev. 1.4)
WD Caviar Green 1TB WD10EARS
LITE-ON 24X SATA DVD Writer Model IHAS-324-98B
Patriot Series G 'Sector 5' Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333
Cooler Master Power Supply 550W 32A
When I try to install Windows 7 returns the following error in step expanding windows files:
"Windows can not install required files. The file May Be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation Are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070570."
The devices work well on other computers. I've also tried different bios settings and still returns the same error.
Thanks in advance.
Greetings.

Hi there,
I would suggest you try installing the OS onto a different HDD if possible rather than a "Green" one.
Another thing to try is to reduce your RAM to 2Gb as this can sometimes help. You can reinstall any extra RAM after Windows has installed.

What absic says is good advice and just to add to it is the Windows disk a genuine retail one ? If not try writing it at a slower speed first.
Is the PSU a multi 12v line version ?
