Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
I think it may well be coming from your PSU as that normall has relays in and that could well be what you are hearing click. Try getting a cardboard tube or something similar and put it to your ear. It will enable you to hear more accurately where the noise is coming from.

Have you tried the same as the OP in the link you posted ?
Which part of the board does the sound originate from ?
-
Itried everything including flashin latest bios.Im not saying that mbo is faulty it's just annoying sound. Oc is prime/linx stable but this clIcking is killing me and i dont know why is it doing that :)

You didn't answer my question though. What part of the motherboard is the noise coming from ?
Have you tried disabling the power savings modes ?
-
I disabled all power saving features. C1,eist etc...if you think on that? I cannot locate direct source of the sound :/
-
Yes that's right and C3/C6 as well
Do as I suggested earlier with a bit of cardboard tube or a drinking straw etc to locate the noise source.

I talked 10 min ago with my friend he has 965-DQ6 ( old school :D ) , and his board do same clicking sound since first day OCed :)
-
Interesting but it doesn't help us find the problem. ;)

Now i'm really mad. After this clickin sound board is really pis**** me off. When i shut down my PSU ( cause thunder storm was yesterday and i shut PSU and unplug from wall pc) , it came in endless loop .I reflashed other bios and in every booting ( when OCed ) it goes boot-restart-boot-restart then turning on and post.Same thing as EX58-UD3.After troubles with EX58 i sad never more gigabyte and bought Asus P6T SE which worked beautiful. Now i have UD4 and same things... Awful
