Since Lucid's Virtu will work with primary being the dedicated video card, will the software work with your high end motherboards without video connectors and will you be offering it, or is it still a no go?

I wouldn't have thought there was much point in having it on a board with no integrated graphics. :-\

It was my understanding that the actual graphics port was just an outlet, that the actual igp was on the cpu. It might follow then that you can run virtu from your dedicated graphics card and get the quicksync speed and quality as the software copies the frames from the igp on the cpu.
I would like to know if this is so, or if my reasoning is flawed. I would like to know that gigabyte didn't create a bunch of high end boards that they can't sell (to me). I especially wanted to buy gigabyte but not a gimped economy board.
