Title: A top end "Bulldozer" CPU for under £200?

Those of us on the AMD platform, waiting for news on the new CPU's might like to look at this article http://unfusedjournal.blogspot.com/2011/05/top-end-amd-bulldozer-fx-8-core.html which claims that the Top End 8 Core "Bulldozer" Zambezi FX Processor will come in at under £200.

That is indeed good news and although surprised I guess that we shouldn't be as this is falling in line with Intel's latest offering with the top of the range CPU being priced at just over £200 over here. Maybe both companies are finally realising that people don't have unlimited amounts of money to spend especially now.

That is good news then! I am sure it will be faster than sandy bridge, although I wonder how well it can overclock!

I bet LGA2011 will be just as expensive as LGA1366 though :P

I have a feeling that you will be right about the 2011 pricing but we live in hope.
