Hi all,
Steve Ballmer announced the upcoming release of Windows 8 today, then Microsoft's spokeswoman spoke of no name yet to be given the new OS.
Anyway, here's the article:

If this is being released next year, I wonder when the beta will be available! I was surprised how good windows 7 beta was, even early on it was much better than vista!

Anything would be better than VISTA! ::)

LOL!
Good point DM!
Ok, let's make a post asking for suggestions for Microsoft's new operating system...
Any suggestions people?
How about Vista Redeemer?
How about Apple Buster 1?
or...
How about Win 8 Torpedoed OSX?
Better N Linux 8?
Ok DM, let's see what quality of creativity we have here at Gigabyte UK!

Windows "CYBORG"........only for T6000 systems!
Windows "Matrix"
Windows "Redemption".......Will he ever live Vista down!
Windows "Medusa"........My pick! ........It's sure to have several heads!
Windows "Final"..........Will he retire soon?
Windows "Evolution"
Windows "Razor"
Windows "Zeus"..........they should be paying us!
And the big question........Will Balimore and Gate make good there cryptic promise and deliver a high end voice engine integrated into there up and coming OS......if true to form .... Dragon Naturally Speaking could be the secret new acquisition.......are there shares.....buy,buy,buy.

Actually the Windows in house voice controller works better than Dragon in a lot of tests.

Didnt know that , Ive been using Dragon for about 6 years now.....tested the one in vista and laughed my head off at the comparission.
Windows must have come a looooooooooooooooong way .........the latest Dragon I use for anything over a A4......admittedly I have my own voice files going back a while but 120 words a minute is not uncommon with 97% accuracy.........might have to dust off the Windows mic and see if W7 performs better.

I was really surprised at just how accurate the Windows Voice Recognition software is nowadays. I don't use it too much but my brother loves it and is always using it!
