Title: Problems playing sound - need help ASAP

Having a GA-P35-DS3 1.0 motherboard.
Have installed drivers from the disk.

However theres no sound.

However under volume mixer, theres realtek digital output showing a green status bar jumping up and down.
Playing sounds underthe option sound (all those windwos sounds), makes the system sound under colume mixer showing green status bar again.

What have I missed here? How do Ii solve this?

Hi pierce

Are you using analogue speakers or a digital amp like Dolby 5.1.

If you are using analogue speakers make sure you have selected speakers in Realtek HD audio manager (ctl panel) and when you plug in the speakers you select FRONT not REAR as you want the front stereo pair to play.

If it's digital output then you will need to setup the interface speed and mode the same as your digital amp settings.
