I have built an HTPC with a GA-H55-UD3H motherboard and core i3-540 cpu, Win7 64-bit, onchip video. Very unusual problem, after resume from a sleep state of longer than 12hrs, the LAN does NOT resume. A reboot is required. If the sleep state is less than 4 hrs, the system resumes normally and all is well.
I do have an overnight backup process running from a windows home server, but have tested around this possibility, and it is not the source of the problem. I have also unchecked the LAN driver property to allow the system to disable in the power management tab.
Any thoughts?

Hi
You don't give us a lot of information about your system but if there is a newer BIOS I would suggest updating yours.

Let me try to detail more on the configuration. Latest bios installed F10. All latest drivers as per Gigabyte website, no other drivers installed. I do have Windows Home Server connector software and backups running normaly. No video card, using on-chip video and HDMI out to plasma TV/AV receiver. 4 GB memory with 2 2GB sticks. Single SATA HD of 320GB. Single BluRay reader SATA drive. 550W PSU. The only other software installed besides the OS is Acrobat Reader and ArcSoft Total Media Theater for BluRay playback.
Thanks
