Title: GA P55 UD3R and i5 760 bios support [Help]
Post by: Xarliew7 on June 06, 2011, 08:38:56 pm
I have a quick question.

I don't know what version does have the P55 UD3R and is about to be with a i5 760 processor.

What could be the problem with old bios and this combination?

Will it boot?

Thanks in advance  :D

Hi and welcome to the Giagbyte Forum.

I am afraid I do not understand your question totally. I guess it is whether the board will support the processor ?

Excuse me for my bad english ;)

What I mean is... if I have an i5 760... and I have an old bios in that Mobo... would it boot without problems?

I don't know what bios version does the mobo has, so... thats my problem. If is not a bios updated... will it boot?

Thanks in advance

When the computer goes through it's boot up phase (Black and White) ... in the top left of the screen will be the Bios version it is currently loading

......it will be something like F5b........this will be the BIOS version currently installed !

Well in that situation it is a little hard to be 100% sure but there is no reason why the card should not work on that board.
