Title: H67A-UD3H-B3 - unstable over-clocking prompt
Post by: forge on June 07, 2011, 02:37:44 am
I keep getting this window popup indicating....

Notification:  Warning

'while overclocking the system, it could be unstable or cause shut down.  to resume the system, please go back to BIOS setting screen and set the default setting.'

this is a new build, setting looks good by default and no over-clocking has been done.  Does this have to do with the Gigabyte Easy Tune software installed?

Not sure, but if your not getting BSOD screens, your not getting BSOD screens......you could try to un- install and see if that makes a difference

Have you loaded the latest BIOS and running under "Optimized Defaults".......if not ....do this!

Hi

Personally I would also uninstall any bundled software like ET that came with your motherboard.

Looks like that's my next step - loading Optimized Defaults did not do the trick.
