Hi everyone.
I'm Brazilian.Sorry for my english.
I have a motherboard model : GA-G41MT-S2
I read in the manual: 2 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 4 GB of system memory.
But in the internet , says supporting 8 GB.
I already have 4GB DDR3 in one slot.
If ibuy another 4GB DDR3 ..will it work?
I do not know who to trust.
Help me ...
Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
Often why this happens is that at the time of printing the manual the BIOS and largest DRAM modules were limited to 4 GB but since then things have moved on and you can now install bigger modules ok. It is not an uncommon issue but often a bit hard to get any official to actually tell it as it is.
The only thing to bare in mind is that if you are using a 32 bit operating system you will be limited to just under 4 GB anyway.
Hope this helps.
