I get the POST code error 2b when trying to boot with an Ati HD5870.(graphic card is from ATI not other company)
My system is: I7-920, 6GB Corsair DDR3 ram and PSU is Corsair 620HX.
I have tried BIOS version F12 and F13Q and still the same error.
I have tested the graphic card on another system and it boots ok. With a 500w noname PSU.
Any help/suggestions?Thank you

Hi
I can only suggest doing an extended CMOS clear first followed by loading the OPtimised BIOS Default settings and make sure that the primary GPU is listed as PCIEX16_1. Obviously double check the power cables to the GPU as well.
To clear the CMOS please follow these directions exactly:
Remove the power cable from the mains supply and then press the power switch on the case for a few seconds just to drain any residual energy in the PSU capacitors.
Once done remove the motherboard battery for at least six hours before replacing it.
Next plug back into the mains supply and boot.
You will now need to enter the BIOS by pressing DEL and load Optimised BIOS Defaults.
Make any other changes to the BIOS settings to suit your self like disabling the floppy drive, disabling the full screen logo and making the HDD the primary boot device and then press F10 to save and exit.

For this error you can have bad PCI-e slot contacts
Test in another slot
