Title: GA-EX58-UD3R Rev2 BIOS
Post by: RalphS on June 21, 2011, 10:09:21 am
Is there a difference between the current FG1 & Fg1 (which was previously available?)

During boot, I am experiencing a 30sec~1min hang detecting HDDs.

I have

Revo 128Gb SSD on Silicon Image SiI 3124 SoftRaid 5 Controller

1Tb SATA 2 (6G) WDC WD10 02FAEX-00Z3A0 SCSI on Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller

1Tb SATA 1 SAMSUNG HD103UJ on Location 4 ?

USB thumb drive

Any suggestions please?

If you head over to "Station Drivers".........http://www.station-drivers.com/page/gigabyte/ga-x58a-ud3r.htm.....there's a whole of new (tweeked BIOS) to play around with including FG1.........FG2........FH1 and FH1b

to answer your question......Fg1 was a BETA.......FG1 was the official release after the BETA
