Hi guys,
Is my GA-MA780G-UD3H compatible with this: http://www.ocztechnology.com/ocz-revodrive-pci-express-ssd.html
Running the F6b BIOS.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
Your motherboard should support it fine as long as you only have one graphics card because the Revodrive will take up the second PCIEx16 slot even though it only runs at x4 speed.

And so it does. ;)
Thanks very much.

You are welcome. I have just fitted a Revo x2 into my system and they are certainly fast.
-
Yeah, everything becomes really nice and smooth. Don't think I could go back to a HDD.
-
Plus the added bonuses of no heat and no noise. Getting better all the time! ;)

I love it when a good plan comes together........will be very interesting to see how gigabyte respond in the next 6 quarters
PCI-E data drives could be huge with SATA effectively in reverse keeping up with SSDs

Just a shame that they are so expensive and I expect it will be a while before we see any significant price drop.
-
If IBIS stays on track, I reckon you can shave £100 of the Revo's by Christmas.

I'm getting a bigger stocking then! ;)

Yeah, SSDs in general keep on coming down in price. At some stage they will hit a price/size tipping point and they will be all over HDDs.
