Thanks Gents, looks like we all have our answer now the G1 Sniper 2 is officially announced.
I have been looking through the spec sheet for this mobo and there are a couple of things I have noticed :-
'Multi-display support with 2 way SLI™ support'
Support for AMD CrossFireX™/NVIDIA SLI technology
* The PCIEX16 slot operates at up to x8 mode when AMD CrossFireX™/NVIDIA SLI is enabled.
This has confused me a little, perhaps someone a bit more knowledgeable than this can talk to what I am thinking here :-
I'm thinking this means no dual GTX590 support ?? (ie quad SLI) ?
If I drop 2 GTX 580s in this board both will operate in x8 mode rather than x16 mode and I lose graphics performance ?
Am I missing something here ? (G1 Assassin 2 perhaps ??)
Cheers Basher.

Hi basher,
You don't need to worry about the 8x support for each slot as no graphics card to use more than 8x so far anyway. This has been a restriction on many boards already.
I would think the G1-Assassin 2 is a distinct possibility.

Thanks Mantis for the response, I'll keep an eye on the announcements ....
