I hope somebody can help me.
I've recently built a new system using the GA-P61-USB3-B3 mobo but have been unable to install Windows 7 64bit my new Seagate Sata III 1TB hard drive model ST31000528AS.
I've successfully partitioned it and it works as a secondary drive when I've installed Windows 7 on an old drive.
But when I try to install Windows 7 on my new drive, it seems the necessary drivers are not already on the HDD or are on the cd-rom that came with the mobo.
I contacted Seagte about the problem and concluded that it must be an issue with the mobo. So I contacted Gigabyte a few days ago but am still waiting for a reply. In the meantime, I am getting increasingly impatient and keen to get it resolved.
Any ideas anyody?
