Title: Gsata raid error - status=conflict
Post by: IanHamilton on July 20, 2011, 10:15:36 am
I have a ga-ep45-ud3p with the gigabyte raid setup (RAID-1) and has been working for over a year. today it failed with a status of "conflict". I cannot find any information on what this means. The RAID configurator program under windows reports no device found. The device manager sees the RAID controller but the disk manager does not see the RAID volume. What can I do? Is it safe to break the mirror?

Yeah I am an idiot. In my panic I just powered the system off and resorted to Google. When I powered in back on and actually looked at the screen I saw the option to resolve conflicts. So all I have to do is to determine which disk to use as the source for the rebuild.

Hi

Yes it would seem as if one of your disks has been corrupted or failing and now the two mirrors don't match.
