Title: x58a-ud7- cpu, nb temperature and voltage leds are replaced
Post by: popac on July 20, 2011, 10:00:14 pm
Is there any posible reason for this:
I have got x58-ud7 rev2.0. Somehow cpu leds for voltage and temperature levels show this figures for north bridge.
My CPU runs at 4ghz, 200x20, vcore 1.30, qpi voltage is 1.34. Memory runs at 1600 mhz, dram is 1.66v.
As soon as I start computer cpu voltage level led shows level 1, first led is green, I assume that may be ok because of high qpi voltage, but again vcore is far from Intel operational max which is 1.375v.
Under the prime95 nb temp goes first to 60c, at that moment I see cpu temp led starts blinking. Some minute later when nb temp rises to 61c cpu led temp stays green.
On the other hand there is not any led indication seen on nb voltage and temperature leds. None of them is green. I am not able to rise my cpu temp above 61c, cores temperature under prime95 don't exceed 73c, but I guess if cpu reached over 61c nb temp led would become green. Nb voltage led also doesn't show any light. All these temps and voltages are recorded under Everest. Any help?
