my motherboard is a ga-g31m-es2sl with 775 socket and g31 chipset. i own a 3tb hard drive i cant use completly some body knows how to do need help

Hi

I am afraid that you appear to have made a mistake on your motherboard model number as our system doesn't ssem to recognise it.

Anyway I don't think you will be able to get a EFI BIOS for your board as it is only the new boards that they are being written for.

the number show is the one on the box label bought from comp usa , inside i found a number 12me-g31mes2l-2401  if is not good did you found somebody tell me for a  lga775 socket or intel pentium dual core which motherboard i can use  w/efi bios thanks help appreciate

The original number is almost correct but I think you have probably added an extra "s" into it. There is a GA-G31M-ES2L but we would then need the revision number which is marked in white on the bottom left of the motherboard.

thank for your help but that bios fi dont work with windows 7 64 bit thanks any way. if you know a motherboard that i can use with the 775 socket processor to guet the new bios so i can use my 3 tb hd is good for me thanks

I don't think there will be one. You will need to update your CPU, motherboard and memory to get to the sort of motherboard that you want.
