Title: Gigabyte Z68X-UD4-B3 USB 3.0 Problem
Post by: bulldog147 on July 24, 2011, 09:11:11 pm
Can you ask gigabtye to check bios USB 3.0 as there is a problem as the external usb 3.0 hard disk (USB 3.0 support) doesn't recognise at all on the bootable (only the usb 2.0 will work) I hope they will look into this and get fix at the next firmware.

Brought hard disk from pcworld: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/western-digital-my-passport-essential-portable-hard-drive-500gb-arctic-white-09649676-pdt.html

The best way to tackle this woulkd be for you to copntact GGTS yourself and explain the problem. They might even be able to help you quicker that way.

Just enter your email address and click on the language of choice.

When you find the answer could you please post it back here? I have the same problem. Thanks.

There are a few glitches concerning USB3.0 which is only to be expected  because it is a new spec and so has a few issues.
