Is it possible to update the OROM BIOS for the ICH9R controller on the GA-P35-DS4?
To be able to use 3TB disks in RAID arrays at least Intel OROM 10.5 is needed (latest version is 10.6) and these versions were just released this spring.

Thanks Pierre, I saw the thread you are referring to (one of very few that mentions OROM :-). I will read up on how cbrom32 works, found some info here http://www.rebelshavenforum.com/sis-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=000009 (http://www.rebelshavenforum.com/sis-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=000009).
Will my computer still start if I happen to flash a broken BIOS image in some way?
Though, I was really hoping for some "official" update with the new OROM release from Gigabyte? Do these happen?
Best regards
Mike
