Title: Will Lucid Vurtu benefit me?

I have a GA-Z68XP-UD3 board with a XFX 6970 Video card. I really don't play games but do burn and encode movies using Nero 10. Would there be any benefit for me in installing Lucid Virtu and if so how should it be setup? I have read it speeds up video encoding by quite a bit.

Hi

The basic reason for using the Lucid is that when doing only light graphics work like browsing the web or checking emails etc your powerful graphics card can sleep. It is just when you start doing some video encoding or some other heavy duty graphics work then it will kick in automatically.
