I recently updated my D3H-B3 BIOS from F5 to the newest version which is F10. I noticed that when I enabled XMP or set my memory to run at its native speed of 1600Mhz it would automatically adjust my CPU clock ratio from 34 to 38. If I try changing it it instantly goes back to 38.
When it jumps to 38 it also seems to disable Turbo Boost because at idle my 2600K runs at 1.6Ghz but under load ALL FOUR cores jump to 3.8Ghz! This is not how Turbo Boost is suppose to work is it?

Hi and welcome.
Seems you have a quirky bit of the BIOS there. I suspect that something got corrupted when you did the flash. Did you use @BIOS to run it ?
If so I would suggest doing it again using QFlash instead. Also for your information in future it is better not to flash in one big jump like that but to take a couple of stages to make the full upgrade. It is safer to do an intermediate step when you have a big difference in BIOS versions.

I always use QFlash. I once ruined a P35 board by using @BIOS so I have learned my lesson and will never use that again ;)
The last firmware before F10 was F6 so I only skipped one. Not sure if that would cause something to not flash correctly.

;) Hi justinb
before reinstall Bios F10, try make Clear Cmos for your motherboard.
after make Clear Cmos, boot and go to bios , choice Load Fail Safe Default.
F10 Boot
Now Maybe perhaps our situation about temp is normal?
If you desire always make a Flash Bios... go to...
Flash your bios with your method Q-Flash
After Flashing bios go to bios
Choose Load Fail Safe Defaut
F10
Boot , all right.. now :P
After this .. make a new Clear Cmos...
At the End Clear Cmos,
Go to bios
Choose Load Optimized Defaut.
Check your Temp if desire.
Maybe use a JDEC setting for your Ram. Check with Cpu-Z. (If you suspect a problem with a XMP profile)
Latest NVIDIA GPU drivers - 280.26 WHQL are unstable and make a trouble with temp, keep 275.33 drivers.

I would just like to add something to Gloup_Gloup's instructions there. When entering the QFlash home screen make sure that you untick (disable) the box marked Save DMI Data so that it starts afresh.
