Hello,
I am a newbie to this forum so apologize for a repeat question in advance...I just bought a Corsair P3 (sata3) 128G SSD drive. Has anyone installed this drive into this motherboard or similar and can relate their settings & experience that would give optimal results within the bios using this drive as the main bootable WIN 7 pro drive?
Also I recently bought 12GB of RAM (3 x 4GB) - Corsair Vengeance 9-9-9-24 DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) could I mix these new modules with my existing memory -6GB (2x3GB) Corsair TR3x61600C8 DDR3 1600Mhz 8-8-8-24 without any issues?
Thanks!

I would put the SSD on the Intel port/s......set BIOS to ACHI to load and run under ACHI....... put optical on the Marvel ports under IDE for the best trouble free config for this board.
Mixing Memory will generally always give you issues and or lower performance at best......being a tri-channel board....will probably refuse to run even at the most conservative setting if at all.......Ebay is the best solution.......turn them into cash and buy something useful....or keep them and buy lots of Panadol ;)

Thanks for your input...I ended up getting a SIIG SATA 6Gb/s 2 port controller for the small express slot and put the drive on that for speed and it cranks....
Just for kicks I tired the memory mix and the system recognized 18GB but I will be removing the 6 as I am sure I will run into issues later.
Thanks

Probably a good Idea in the long run....it would have been running at the lowest speed of the slowest memory installed anyway.
A lot of people are using cards to get around the problem on this board......I'm using a RocketRaid 640 card myself.
