Title: Is Dual Channel "On" by default? P55-UD6
Post by: jamostew on October 07, 2009, 04:26:33 am
I thought I read somewhere that you had to enable dual channel addressing of memory in the bios before it would work.  Isn't it ON by default?

Dual channel will be 'on' if you have installed the two sticks of ram in the two appropriate channels. The installation manual that came with the motherboard will clearly show which two channels need to have the ram fitted. On my board it was channel one and three.
