Hi,
As the above states this is a bit annoying rather than a major problem. My motherboard is a GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 and it is my second one as I had to RMA the first one because of a reboot cycle problem. Anyhow this new one keeps losing time, I have replaced the CMOS battery but it still seems to lose time at about the same rate. I updated the bios to version F8 a month or so ago but I cannot remember if it was doing the same on version F3.
Any ideas?
thanks

Hi
Well you have done the obvious thing and that is replace the battery. Is the battery you replaced it with a quality one ?
The only other thing that could have an effect was if the BIOS was faulty or corrupt. Try reflashing it with QFlash, preferably to an updated one.

Hi,
thanks for the reply, I will try doing the bios again as you suggest

Well good luck with that and as I said use QFlash not @BIOS. Let us know how you get on please.

Hi,
I used the QFlash to update the bios & installed the F9d beta version.
It now keeps time as it should and is running stable
thankyou again Dark Mantis
