I have a Silicon Image RAID card (SiI3132) installed on my GA-X58-USB3 motherboard that performed without any problems with BIOS versions previous to F5C. The card's boot ROM would appear after the motherboard SATA HDD detection with the usual configuration options. With F5C the card's ROM is skipped (there is just a flash of a warning message to this effect). I know that this is a beta BIOS version, but will this fault be sorted in the next BIOS release with Dolby Home Theater?

Hi and welcome.
I would suggest making sure by informing GGTS of the problem so there is no reason to miss it out.

The BIOS F5C use a BIG INTEL OPTION Rom 10.6.0.1091 absolutly not compatible with add-on cards
Reinstall old BIOS with INTEL Option ROM 8.9.0.1023 ( last compatible )

Thanks for clearing that up Pierre ;)

Thanks for your help. I have gone back to Bios F5A with no problems. The new Intel ROM firmware seems a retrograde step if it no longer supports add-in cards.

The usual two steps forward and then one step backwards again! Seems to happen everywhere. :-\
