Hi

Has anyone here recently bought a new Gigabyte Z68MX-UD2H or Z68MA-D2H motherboard?

If so, can you possibly check what BIOS version it has?

May I ask why you are enquiring about two different motherboards ?

I recently bought a new Z68MA-D2H-B3 and am a little surprised to find out that it still has the old F3 BIOS, so I want to see if this situation (slow manufacturer factory BIOS update) is common.

The other mobo is, as I understand it, similar to the Z68MA-D2H-B3, so I thought I'd mention it as well.

I am afraid that sort of thing where the latest BIOSes and drivers are not loaded or delivered with the boards straight off the production line is common, not just to Gigabyte but many other firms as well. That is why we always advise owners to forget the disk that is included with the boards and go straight to the web for the latest drivers etc.
