Title: GA-K8N Pro M/B 64 bit cpu and 1 TB HDD

My motherboard is a GA-K8n Pro with q 64 Bit AMD processor, it will recognise the 120gb Sata HDD I have but will not recognise the Western Digital 1 TB Sata hdd, has anyone got any ideas please?

Have you tried formatting it using windows disk managment? (right click on my computer -> manage -> disk management)

Yes I have done that, I partioned it into 3 drives, I did this on another computer which has since stopped working, I forgot to mention that I am running Windows 7 RTM with 2.5gb of ram. it just seems strange that it will recognise the 120gb but not the new one.

Does it not even see it in the disk management at all? Does it see it in the BIOS?
