Title: For owners of GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX 580 1536MB (GV-N580UD) with driver crashes
Post by: sidar on September 20, 2011, 01:52:23 pm
As the topic reads this might probably only work for those with that card, but might help others.

If you have been getting the driver crash randomly in games and what not, this is caused 80% of the time from incorrect voltage. Atleast that is what fix my problem right away.

The default voltage on this card is set to 1.013, but it need to be at 1.050

Hope this helps some people

Hi and welcome.

This is a fairly well known fix and many members have already used it to get their cards running properly. What I don't understand is why Gigabyte hasn't applied this fix on the production line and cured them all before sale. :-\

Anyway thanks for the info.

I am not sure as I use Radeons but I supect that Nibitor is the best editor or maybe try MSI Afterburner.  ;)
