If you want high performance as well as lots of PCI-E  .....

  i7 -1366 LGA would be GA-X58A-OC with 4 PCI-E slots and .......or

Gigabyte SKT-1366 G1 Killer Assassin Motherboard......both in 1366 flavor .... saw a G1 Guerrilla on SCAN for £166 in the sales!... Bargain!

i7-1155 LGA would be GA- P67-UD7 with 3 slots..........All are excellent boards but these a just personal choices.....the next person may well choose differently......but it's somewhere to start looking for you

Hi

What reason are you choosing the i7 for the platform ? The new 2011 will be out soon and that will take over as the power platform from the i7 LGA 1366 so you would be buying into an old technology.

However if you have a good reason for going that way the best option for normal/gaming use would be the GA-X58A-UD9 as it has everything (apart from SATA3) but you will need a big case to house it. Next one down from that is the UD7 which is what I am running and it is a very nice motherboard indeed.

There will be many offers coming up shortly as the retailers sell off the outdated stock.
