Just curious why this is? I bought my Gigabyte 5970 about a year ago and couldn't be happier with it. I was just browsing the Gigabyte web site and noticed that for some reason it seem to be only listed as a product on the Global version of the web site, not the Canadian version (I live in and bought my card here in Canada).

Apple/Mac/book compatibility lists are concise and reasonably up-to date, mainly because the list of compatible kit is relatively small .....Because PC is a third party component based industry , it has literately tens of thousands of compatible components that has to be categorized and constantly tested ..... no company has the time and resources to cover everything .....all they can do is rely on JEDEC to set strict enough parameters for overall compatibility throughout the industry
does that satisfy your curiosity ?

Yes I would go along with Allan's reasoning here unless of course it is merely an oversight. :-\
