Please notice the below forum thread in a hardware forum :
http://www.overclock.net/amd-cpus/1141188-asus-crosshair-v-formula-board-may.html
it was compiled with data collected in another hardware forum.
Now the thing is, a certain major mobo manufacturer's board, which was sent to review sites with the dozer review kit was found to be underperforming when pitted against boards from another manufacturer, and another one.
In the latter two cases, dozer chip got ahead of intel chip in many respects, and got a major margin in gaming too.
Now, the reason i opened this thread is, i noticed that on a gigabyte 990fx board used review, dozer performed even worse :

I have a 990fxa-d3 myself. and im rather concerned that i bought a board that hampers the most advanced cpu i can shove in it.
Can anyone from gigabyte enlighten me on these performance disparages ? I have not used the company names, because i dont know if naming other companies are allowed or not in this forum.

and in this board dozer performed better.
it seems the performance is not consistent across not only board manufacturers, but also board models ?
