Title: Dynamic Energy Saver and Phase LEDs
Post by: timtom33 on October 14, 2011, 09:45:14 am
Hi,

How do i get these phase LEDs on the mobo to work? I understand i have to install "Dynamic Energy Saver" but i tried that and it didn't work. Kept saying to enable CE1 EST in the BIOS, which i had already done.

If i go to the downloads section for my board (see sig) Dynamic Energy Saver isn't listed under 'utilities' so i am not sure if i am using the right one...

Tom

Hi and welcome.

You will need to make sure that you have the newest BIOS version installed before installling the Dynamic Energy Saver utility.

I read that Tune Up Utilities 2012 has an option for maximum, moderate or manaul configure energy saver.
My question is, why someone would choose something different than the maximum energy saver?

Win 7 has also option for minimal energy, I guess this will happen only when system is idle. So, why someone would choose the maximum option?
