Title: M68MT-D3P + Phenom II X4 945 C3

Does this mobo support Phenom II X4 945 C3 CPU? There is only C2 step of Phenom 945. Is it just missed in list, or is the CPU not really supported?

Hi there,

as far as I know this board will take the C3 version of the Phenom ii 945 although it doesn't appear on the supported CPU list. However, it might be a good idea to confirm this with GTS here: http://ggts.gigabyte.com/tech.asp?ClassID=2&Country=Russia&SourceWeb=B2C before spending any money.

Thanks, I sent request both in English and in Russian. I'm waiting for responce now. I Hope it just a mistake in the list, cose all of others CPU's are supported by this mobo. It seems very strange that improved AM3+ socket was unable take this CPU.

I think Gigabyte got told off for releasing Bulldozer support to early and they had to take everything off of the website. The problem is, they haven't got round ot replacing it all yet.

Please let us know how you get on as I am sure it will help other users who are also wondering about this.

OK, I'm still waiting for other users responce who use this CPU on M68MT-S2P or -D3P mobos.
