Title: Corsair XMS 3 DDR-3 Memory Problem, in Gigabyte EX-58 UD3R
Post by: hoodiboy on October 18, 2009, 05:50:07 am
My Specs are:-
Intel Core i7 920
Gigabyte GA EX-58 UD3R
4(2x2 GB) GB Corsair XMS3 DDR-3 1333 MHz
1 TB Seagate HDD
Sparkle Nvidia 9600 GT 1024 MB
1 LG DVD RW
Cooler Master Extreme 460W PSU
Cooler Master Elite 334 Cabinet.

When i installed this 4GB memory in dual channel mode,System doesn't boot.instead it restarts.
So i removed 1 module..then system works perfectly.
now i installed latest BIOS (F7B) and checked dual channel config..the problem still exists...
Can anyone help me...????

Sounds like a memory issue to me. Have you tried running a memtest on each stick individually?
