Title: G1-Guerrilla MIT BIOS question
Post by: G1KLR on October 27, 2011, 04:03:08 am
Hi

I’ve got a G1-Guerrilla running the F2 Bios and I’ve noticed that:

1) My usb keyboard and Mouse (the backlit lighting) goes on and off when I go into the M.I.T. screen of the BIOS. I’ve noticed when the screen refreshes itself (updates the mobo readings) that’s when the keyboard and mouse flashes on and off every few seconds. Every other section/screen of the BIOS no issues. Is this normal? Running Logitec G510 keyboard and Razer Mamba mouse. Plugged into the usb 2 slots next to the Network/LAN slot. I can navigate through the M.I.T section with no problems, but just wondering is the backlit flashing normal.

2) Running Corsair 12GB Dominator DHX (3x4GB), PC-12800 (1600MHz) DDR3, 9-9-9-24 – and I configured the memory profile to XMP profile 1 so it runs @ 1600MHz. It shows this in the Memory screen. In the M.I.T. screen it shows that it is running at 1599.xxMHz. Is this right?

The BIOS is set to Optimal settings.

Any help to clarify this would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Hi and welcome.

It seems to me like you are just looking for problems. If everything is working as it should, which I suspect that it is, then just enjoy using your toy rather than worrying about things that are inconsequential. I, personally, can't say if the particular keyboard and mouse combination you are using does that as per spec but I doubt that there is anything wrong merely an indication of the system refreshing itself. ;)
