Title: Strange Shutdown Problem H55M-S2
Post by: passion on October 27, 2011, 01:29:18 pm
Everything was working fine. Since last few days I am not able to shutdown my PC properly. I'm running on windows 7 Ultimate  32 bit.

1- The fans, front panel led, DVDROM still have power even after shutdown.
2- It takes longer than usual  for the Shuttting Down Screen.

I have tried several things clean boot, safe mode, Bios Update and switching RAM, replacing PSU unit.

This is really irritating me a lot now. I have no idea what next should I do to resolve this.

Hi there,

are you sure that the switches on the PC case are working correctly?
Have you added any new hardware to your system recently?
Could you post back with your full system Spec's so we know what hardware you're running?

Hi

Nowhere do you mention the PSU that you are using and that is probably the most important part with this fault.
