GA-EX58-UD5 ddr3 1.65v i cannot find any info in the manual to say if the board will work ok with this voltage of ddr3 memory
1.5v ok dont want to buy and have to return it .. :(

The motherboard should work fine wioth 1.65v modules. You may have to enter the settings and voltage manually but apart from that I can't see why there should be a problem.

On the UD3R have 1600 Ram 3x4gb @ 1.65v. The XMP setting runs at that though not fully tested as yet & set at 1333-1.5v for
time being.

Yes, I have the X58A which is almost the same spec and that and the rest of that series all work fine with 1.65v for memory.

Good. Always nice to hear that the advice worked out right and we have another happy member. ;)

Also set mine now at 1600 via XMP & upped my i7 950 to 3.2 mhz.

Every little bit helps Tinker. XMP is a nice and easy/fast way of getting a bit of extra speed too.
