So ive had Z68X-UD3-B3 for about 2 months and few days ago i updated BIOS to F12 ver. Updating went good but after the update problems started. First my USB ports stopped working tryed reinstalling drivers but nothing. Motherboard wont detect my hard drives when it boots up sometimes and some blue screens and random freezes tryed 2 formats aswell but nothing. Anyone know what to do now... Should i just take it back to guarantee or what (soz for bad english:()

Hi there,
the first thing I would try is going back to the previous BIOS version that you were running. Reflash using the QFlash utility and remember to disable the Keep DMI Data on the QFlash homescreen.
Hopefully this will cure the basic problem and then you can move forward.

last bios i was running was F9 but it was bugged like that aswell...
-
trying to flash back to F7 later
-
Okey flashed back to BIOS F7 and now working perfectly
-
It may well be that the drivers needed updating when you installed the latest BIOS version. Some of these driver files are quite pickey about how they are installed and the old ones removed first too.

Ok new problem now. Windows booting up kinda long sitting at the Windows Logo for like 1min and then when i log on i have to wait for about 2 min untill everything loads up

A list of all your hardware would help here a lot. Also have you made any changes in the BIOS ?

I5 2500K 3.3GHz
HD6950 1GB
8GB 1333mhz Kingston ram( rest of the ram numbers i really dont know )
GA Z68X UD3 B3
Windows 7 64 bit
Also noticed that when im using Mozilla or playing something then my PC does some wierd sound like its starting up again thinking that VRM is broken or smthing. And im using the "fail safe" settings on bios after i flashed back to older bios i selected those settings

Yes, I did wonder that. You would be better off loading the Optimised BIOS Defaults.
You never mentioned the PSU or drives etc.

Motherboard drivers are the lastest verions, ati catalist ver 11.9 and PSU is a 620w SeaSonic

Thanks but I said DRIVES not DRIVERS. ;)

Also PC completely sometimes crashes. You cant move the mouse, CTRL ALT DELETE wont work.. only reboot works and action centre wont save the event...
